POKÉMON - The fictional Pokémon world is a world very much like our own, only instead of animals, it is inhabited by a variety of creatures known as Pokémon. Pokémon comprise a diverse group of creatures; the 490 species vary from tiny and cute to huge and powerful. Some Pokémon live in the wild, some are kept as companions, and others are prepared for competition by people called Trainers and Coordinators. A human’s relationship with his or her Pokémon is one of loyalty and respect. |

DAWN - As an energetic budding Trainer and Coordinator, Dawn aspires to follow in the footsteps of her mother by showing off her Pokémon’s talents at Pokémon Contests. She tackles challenges with a positive attitude and has a habit of saying "No need to worry!" in the face of a sticky situation. |

BROCK - The eldest of 10 siblings and his pals, Brock is everyone's brotherly guardian. He is known for his ability to cultivate, cook and care for Pokémon as well as his friends. Although Brock is knowledgeable and more experienced, like many teenagers, he still can get a bit googly-eyed around girls. |

MAY - A fellow Trainer and Coordinator, May loves to show off her Pokémon grooming and coordination at Contests. She is brave, caring, and can be quite protective of her little brother Max who is usually found by her side. A real go-getter, May is a glass half full kind of girl!

MAX - Max is May's inquisitive younger brother. His favorite hobby is reading and learning about all the mysteries of the Pokémon world. He idolizes Ash and Professor Oak, but most of all, his Gym Leader father, Norman. Someday, when he's old enough, Max wants to be a Pokémon Trainer just like them. |

TRACEY - A Pokémon watcher, Tracey is always researching and sketching the magnificent variety of Pokémon. His devotion to his studies has landed him a coveted position as assistant to his personal hero and the foremost scientific expert on Pokémon, Professor Oak. |

MISTY - Once a traveling companion to Ash and Brock, Misty now attends to her duties as Gym Leader at the Cerulean City Gym while her older sisters are away on vacation. Her feisty attitude fuels her along as she works to become an outstanding Water-type Pokémon Trainer. |
